HRTM Minors

Minor in Hotel, Restaurant and Tourism Management

A minor in Hotel, Restaurant and Tourism Management consists of 18 or more credit hours of approved course work of which at least 12 must be numbered 300 or higher; all completed with a grade of "C" or higher.
This minor consists of the following courses:

  • HRTM 1130 and One Other 200 Level HRTM Course
  • HRTM 302 and Three Other 300 or 400 Level HRTM courses

Minor in Culinary Science

A minor in Culinary Science for HRTM majors and non-majors consists of 18 or more credit hours of approved course work of which at least 9 must be numbered 300 or higher; all completed with a grade of "C" or higher.
This minor has the following prerequisite:

  • BIOL 111 or 211, plus lab (To waive this requirement you need the consent of the HNFS 320 instructor)
